Affreschi & Affreschi, in collaboration with the Italian architect and designer Fabio Novembre, has recently launched Naturae, an extraordinary collection of handcrafted textured wallpapers composed of 3 different series: Handprints, Camouflage and Landscapes.

Novembre's graphic design project for naturae has its origins in the Landscapes series, which draws inspiration from the Italian territory, observed with a completely renewed gaze and from a different perspective. The return to nature and the primordial origin of things is a strong feeling very present in the collection, a desire to reappropriate the places of our cultural-historical and landscape heritage, a reconnection with what is most primitive and necessary.
The path continues through the representation of Camouflage, a method that has always been used by man to blend in with nature and as a form of contestation of any war event. Finally, the project culminates in Handprints, a highly symbolic series that takes inspiration from the Cueva de las Manos and depicts the mark that man leaves on the world through his own limited life experience. Fabio Novembre chooses the majestic, picturesque, wild and unspoiled nature as an escape route, a new point of view to live and breathe spaces.
Each Affreschi & Affreschi mural is reproduced on a unique plaster-based backing, crafted in Italy by Master Artisans using natural raw materials such as Carrara Marble and stucco powder to give you the same finish as Michelangelo's ancient frescoes.
