Nube Italia: The Story of Italian Upholstered Furniture Rooted in Tradition and Evolved Through Generations
Nube was founded in 1958 in the hard-working Brianza region. Counting the years is a source of pride for a company that has focused on know-how right from its origins. And for the second (and today also the third) generation of the Nicoli family, there’s a tacit approach to the passing of time: to progress while preserving the merits of tried-and-tested experience.

Siblings Simona and Corrado, who took over from their father, Antonio, the founder of Nube, have instilled in the design what had already become a respected industrial manufacturing story. In 2020, Stefano, the grandson, entered the company, marking a further step in the brand's evolution. Reinforcing the company’s close ties with the territory, synonymous with Made in Italy quality, they have moved further forward the milestones which Nube had already achieved since the 1970s, marked by an innate organisational and entrepreneurial capacity, progressively expanding towards the USA, Europe and Far East markets.
All the goals achieved over the decades with upholstered furniture collections are a testament to a production that is precise in its manufacturing process and attentive to interpreting tastes in advance, thanks also to collaborations with Carlo Colombo, Marco Corti, Ferdinando Buzzi, and others who have left their mark.

It’s a precious heritage that, today, with the contribution of architect Fabio Fantolino in his capacity as Art Director, opens up to the contemporary and is renewed by enhancing the past with the dynamism that the present requires.
