Multifunctional Family Space Redefined with Deco Line 3D Wall Panels

Mar 23, 2026

Great interior design goes beyond aesthetics. It solves real-life needs, adapts to changing routines, and creates an atmosphere that feels both comfortable and inspiring.

In a recent makeover featured on the Russian TV show «Housing Issue», a compact 20 sq. m. room was completely reimagined to function as both a cozy children’s bedroom and a welcoming living area. The key objective was to strike a balance between playfulness and relaxation, practicality and visual lightness, without overwhelming the space.

A central role in this transformation was played by Deco Line’s WAVE 3D wall panels, which became a defining architectural element of the interior.

Designing a dual-purpose room requires precision. Instead of dividing the space with heavy partitions or high-contrast elements, the designers opted for a more fluid and contemporary solution.

The 3D wall panels were used as a textured backdrop, introducing depth, movement, and a refined sense of rhythm. Their sculptural surface interacts beautifully with natural light, casting soft, dynamic shadows that shift throughout the day. This interplay enhances the overall ambiance, giving the interior a bright, sun-filled character.

Rather than dominating the room, the panels work in harmony with the design, subtly elevating both its functionality and visual appeal.
