CREATED TO SEEK HAPPINESS

Inspired by the simple things in life such as the warmth of the morning sun, the music that kickstarts the day, and the outfit that makes us feel powerful - experiences that provide us daily happiness.

Myface is a brand that transcends outdoor furniture and becomes not only an integral part of life but a fundamental one.

Rooted in the latest design, music, fashion trends, and happiness, our creative process leads the brand to meet individual tastes and personalities, mirroring in its creations the values that characterize our followers and clients, thus strengthening this relationship that we hold sacred.

Myface brings comfort to living in the outdoors through innovation and premium materials, breaking its association with indoor furniture.
HOW WE SEE THE OUTDOOR WORLD Myface wants to maximize life moments that provide physical and emotional comfort, ultimately adding up to what we all seek - happiness, by increasing the day’s end escape and morning stimulus necessary to enjoy each day to its fullest. INNOVATION AND DESIGN Although recognized as such only three centuries ago, design is the oldest craft practiced by humans. Since the beginning of our time, Man has stood apart from other species by adapting the environment to its needs instead of the needs of the environment. Myface's design promises innovation, modernity and above all personality. Our desire to bring our customers an outdoor environment that allows relaxation in comfortable seating and pure joy around a dining and pool area is our starting and windup point.

Boca do Lobo:The Art of designing and crafting exclusive pieces

Boca do Lobo:The Art of designing and crafting exclusive pieces

Boca do Lobo was founded in 2005 and, early on, it committed to reinterpreting ancient techniques of fine craftsmanship to create unexpected pieces of contemporary design.

Each creation carries the legacy of centuries of craftsmanship. In the workshops, talented artisans challenge and combine traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest technological methods to shape the finest materials into remarkable furniture, upholstery and lighting pieces, which gives rise to timeless cosmopolitan environments. The collections are inspired and accurately handcrafted in Portugal with attention to detail, passion for beauty and the pure dedication of skilled craftsmen and craftswomen.

Since the pioneering SOHO collection, presented in London, one of the world's leading design capitals, Boca do Lobo has flourished, unveiling ground-breaking furniture pieces, highlighted for their irreverent design, clash of materials and technique, which has been at the core of the brand's design mission. With more than 200 international exhibitions, its masterpieces can be seen across the globe in exquisite residential projects to leading hotels and contract projects. Renowned luxury department stores such as Printemps in Paris and Harrods in London have already selected Boca do Lobo to decorate luxury corners for brands such as Fendi and Prada. Giants of hospitality like the Fairmont Hotel chain in US, The New York Palace Hotel, the Asturias Hotel in Madrid or the opulent Al Jasra Boutique Hotel in Qatar have already conceived five-star interiors through the brand’s collections. Opulent casinos in Europe, or even luxury villas in Oporto, are already home to the distinctive aesthetic that marries traditional craft with a new playful sophistication. The greatest design and lifestyle publications such as Architectural Digest editions, Designboom, Wallpaper*, ELLE Décor, LUXE Interiors+Design, How to Spend It or Le Monde, have featured Boca do Lobo artistic creations as a trend to follow. The first piece of Boca do Lobo was drawn 15 years ago, yet its story started being shaped centuries ago. Around the world, the beauty and wisdom of craftsmanship have survived throughout the times and generations, allowing the creation of soulful design pieces nowadays. The non-settle feeling of creative minds and the meticulous effort of master artisans gave the vision to understand the past through forgotten techniques and raw materials and interpret it through cutting-edge technology. New: Burned Wood - Japanese-style flamed decorative wood lamp

New: Burned Wood - Japanese-style flamed decorative wood lamp

Fire generally has the property of destroying wood. But the exact opposite is the case if you deliberately combine wood with fire. Like the Yakisugi method, the traditional Japanese art of wood finishing, in which the wood is carbonized and thus preserved for many decades. Flamed wood is also a real eye-catcher, with which the Berlin lighting manufacturer Gantlights is now refining its C series.

There are various methods of preserving wood. Most woods are varnished, varnished, or oiled. The thermal type of preservation, in which the wood is carbonized, is an exceptional variant: the temperature-intensive treatment of the wood surface caramelizes and chars the cellulose, wood cells are closed, and the underlying layers are protected from damaging influences in a natural way.

The Yakisugi method is, therefore, an extraordinarily ecological and economical technique that also develops outstanding aesthetics: carbonized wood impresses with its deep black color and thus offers an exciting contrast to light, minimalist furnishing concepts. Flamed wood is now widely used in architecture but is still relatively new in the product area. The Berlin lighting manufacturer Gantlights has included "Burned Wood" as a new variant in the C series - a lighting series with a filigree design and exciting material contrasts with a unique presence. Flamed wood is one of eight material variants for the lampshade, which can be individually combined with light and dark concrete or oak and walnut as the lamp body. "My designs work a lot with materials that are more familiar from architecture. But a burnt wood surface has so much structure and delicacy that it comes out much better in the product design. More details are recognizable than on a large facade," explains the architect and product designer Stefan Gant. "I find it particularly exciting that the surface appears extremely fragile, but the opposite is the case: the fire treatment makes the wood more resistant to moisture, fungi and UV radiation, for example." The C series can be optically configured extensively: available in lengths of 92, 122 and 186 centimeters, the materials - for example, concrete, oxidized copper, oak or walnut and now newly flamed wood - can be freely combined for the lamp body and lampshade. Cable color and length can also be customized. The pendant lamp also conveniently regulates the light using Touch-Dim: gently touching the steel cables, the light is dimmed or brightened.

Trends for 2023: These lights are particularly popular in the new year

Trends for 2023: These lights are particularly popular in the new year

Lights made of natural materials such as wood or concrete and in geometric basic shapes continue to be on-trend. Colors dominated by black and brass, among others. Additionally, decorative wall lights will be in focus in the coming year.

Of course, it is unrealistic to redecorate every room every year, and testing every trend would also be unsustainable. Nevertheless, at least one idea can often be well integrated into the existing home. Light is a particularly beautiful furnishing element that can easily enhance the apartment decoratively and functionally with a few simple steps. Trend #1: Lights made of natural materials In addition to wood, concrete is also a natural product. The mixture of cement, water, and a rock aggregate consisting of sand and gravel is arbitrarily shapeable in a slurry-like state and extremely durable in hardened form. With the C series, Gantlights offers a luminaire that beautifully combines wood and concrete and many other combinations such as oak with carbonized wood. Trend #2: Lights in black tones A black-light body that seemingly absorbs the light envelops the light source, which in turn provides brightness: a black luminaire is an exciting contrast pair that is increasingly finding its way into living rooms. Gantlights also offers all of its luminaires in dark concrete. Particularly decorative are small pendant lights arranged as bundles above the table. Tip #3: Wall lights for atmospheric lighting Indirect accent lighting for a cozy atmosphere is often more known in restaurants or hotels. Now, wall lights are also celebrating their breakthrough in the domestic four walls. Above all, restrained formats such as discreet cubes that emit light upwards and downwards create an elegant feel-good atmosphere. At Gantlights, rectangular and square wall lights are made of light or dark concrete with silver, gold, or copper interior coatings.

GANTlights: Perfect light in the bedroom: 3 tips for the home wellness oasis

About GANTlights

GANTlights was founded in 2012 in Berlin by the architect and product designer Stefan Gant (34) to design individual lamps and products with architectural influence and manufacture locally affiliated workshops in small quantities. The company employs 8 permanent employees and sells its products internationally both through stationary and online retailers.

Stefan Gant has received various awards and nominations for his design objects, including the German Design Award Special and the European Product Design Award. They hang in reception areas of doctors and dentists, in cafés and offices, as well as in a wide variety of apartments – from Paris to Hong Kong. On average, 24 years of life are spent sleeping. Accordingly, a bed with a comfortable mattress receives a lot of attention in furnishing planning. But what about the lighting concept? To start the sleep process, melatonin is needed. The hormone causes fatigue but is only active if the environment is not too bright. An adapted lighting concept is therefore essential for good sleep. But in reality, bedrooms are usually too dim or much too brightly lit. Often too few light sources are responsible, often placed in the wrong place and with the wrong light color. Tip #1: The basic lighting: pendant lights with high ceilings, ceiling spots with low ceilings The basic lighting of a room almost always comes from above. The ceiling lighting distributes the light evenly throughout the room. The height of the luminaire is decisive here. With very high ceilings, a pendant lamp is suitable, which can also illuminate the cabinet at the appropriate height. Several pendant lamps of different heights Tip #2: Accent lighting: light spots for atmosphere, wall or table lamps for reading In order to illuminate individual areas in the bedroom in a targeted manner or to set atmospheric highlights, several luminaires are suitable: floor spots to illuminate a houseplant, for example, wall spots for indirect light and table or wall lamps for reading. This also shows again how important it is to plan the lighting concept carefully: while floor spots in the room can be rearranged at any time, wall

Brokis: Sky Office

Brokis: Sky Office

Following the resounding success of the Virtual Villa and Boutique Hotel, BROKIS is building on its technological advancements and innovative solutions to showcase its award-winning lighting collections in a setting they undoubtedly belong in and form an integral part of – the modern office. In its latest project spanning more than 1,200 m2 of virtual office space, BROKIS presents 16 collections, including the latest additions to its product portfolio, Overlay, Prisma, Double, and Orbis. The goal was to create a timeless office ecosystem with relaxation zones and informal meeting rooms in which employees and visitors feel good. Welcome to our SKY Office in the clouds of Manhattan.

The offices are in a skyscraper in Manhattan, New York, covering an entire upper floor. The environment is airy and pleasant thanks to full-length windows looking out over the cityscape. The windows play an important role, as they remind the observer of the project’s unique venue, with the surrounding buildings outside providing a sense of dynamism rising from the streets below to the thriving, energetic offices. The main aspiration for the project was to create a setting, perhaps suitable for a design or creativity firm, conceived around people with a genuine sense of community working together in the building. The concept provides the perfect backdrop on which to cast the beauty of the BROKIS collections, the decorative lights instilling the space with a distinctive character and creating a warm and inviting office setting. Subtle and peculiar architectural touches combine with attractive appointments and furniture to enable each space to fulfill its special function. With no private offices, the open floorplan featuring an abundance of areas for work, meetings, and discussions speaks to the idea that the best creative results are achieved not through solo efforts but through collaboration between all the participants on a given project. The open space promotes the continuous exchange of ideas and opinions, with the central relaxation zone serving as a junction between the two halves of the Like the other virtual projects before it, the new BROKIS Virtual Office was created by the studios Salaris and Suprema. The overall design was conceived in close collaboration with BROKIS art director Lucie Koldova, who personally oversaw every last detail of the resulting design. And how exactly might one characterize that design? The use of color, although maintained in continuity in the different spaces, plays an important narrative role in the project. The architecture of the building was

Exquisite attention to every design and construction detail represents the distinctive hallmark of Zilio A&C, a brand committed to furniture and accessories design for the contract and residential markets. Bacchette folding chair design Mentsen The folding safari chair is an archetype evoking elegant and exotic vibes: moving memories that Bacchette conveys in this contemporary reinterpretation of a chair. The piece’s character is emphasized by the two beechwood rods (“bacchette” in Italian) that support the backrest and act as armrests, floating almost on the thin, barely perceptible metal frame. Finishes shift from natural tones for the outdoor version, featuring a back and seat made of durable technical material meant to be experienced on a porch, veranda, or conservatory. The richer leather version is ideal for indoor settings, from the living room to the study. Warm colors characterize the powder-coated steel frame in coppery red or black-veined brown. Candid stool design Note Design Studio The challenge taken on by the Stockholm studio for this piece, in synergy with Zilio A&C and all its excellence in craftsmanship and detailing, was to create a new concept for a chair that would be light and sturdy at the same time. A compact, lightweight design returns in the new Candid stool, where a few simple elements come together naturally through a complex construction process and careful jointing systems. Trapezoidal supports offer the eye a

Loop Side Table Design by Mustafa Cohadzic

Loop Side Table Design by Mustafa Cohadzic

About the inspiration

The Loop Side Table aims to enrich our lives, both aesthetically and functionally. It illustrates how design can simultaneously simplify and enhance our spaces. The inspiration for Loop Side Table arose in 2020, a pivotal time in the world, seeing the transformation of homes into offices, playrooms and meeting rooms. This merging of personal spaces led Mustafa to the idea of creating a table that enables working from the comfort of your sofa and provides an alternative to the much-used dining table. Product characteristics The initial goal was to create a product that was sleek, minimalistic, and discreet. Its form is crucial to its function, permitting the table to merge and slide under sofas, thus allowing the plate to gracefully levitate over the seat. Additionally, Loop offers a rotating mechanism, enabling the plate to smoothly spin, and permitting its user to stand up with ease, essentially without the hassle of having to remove any items from it. Loop can also be used for other purposes - as an accent table, a nightstand, or a bedside tray table. Its metal base is powder-coated, whilst the tabletop is available in oak veneer and linoleum. Unlike the rest In essence, the table named itself with its unique feature - the looping motion. Thus, it is this very motion that differentiates Loop from the standard side table, and empowers it to take on different functions, with every turn that it makes. Designer About the Loop Side Table: "For visual sleekness, we balanced the coldness of the metal with the round edges and the warm exterior of the plate. Loop's aim is to be discreet in the interior space; its aesthetic is entirely in service of its function - to curve above the sofa seat for effortless use. Adding to that effortlessness, we implemented the rotating mechanism, ensuring exibility when standing up from the sofa. Hence, the purpose thoroughly conditions the form." Mustafa Cohadzic
